So when it says I should have the lowest AL possible, I should have the lowest amount of armor?

I guess you can interpret it as lowest amount of armor, but it basically means that you should use armor with low AL, for instance 5 AL opposed to the maximum for monk, 60 AL.

alright, but how is that useful? I'm using the 330 rit build, and it says I should use lowest AL rating, I'm really lost on how that's useful.

It is useful because with a lower AL you can take more damage, although I am not to familiar with the 330 I think it is to help trigger Spirit Bond, but like I said I am not to familiar with it, at any rate the answer to your questing is that it will just allow you to take more dmg than usual.

Ye, spirit bond requires 60 damage to trigger. With a 15 AL armor pretty much everything will do 60+ damage, even when wanding. So the low armor is needed in order for your main heal spell to do it's job.

Yeah.... you apparently do not understand the whole point of the 600/330 build. You are supposed to take a lot of damage so that spirit bond triggers. Therefore, to get damaged, having a lower armor level helps reach that +60 damage.
